Izotope RX to RX Advanced

Any RX Advanced users care to chime in on whether or not it's worth it to upgrade? It's an awful big price jump and I'm just wondering how much "better" the program is. How well does the adaptive mode work? How helpful is the multi-resoliution spectral repair?

Just looking for some advice. Thanks everyone!

I can't give you an opinion based usage as I haven't had the occasion or need to fully try out the Advanced bits yet. But I have used the regular bits a lot and never felt hobbled or the need for more.

You can demo the Advanced version.

The Adaptive denoiser mode is certainly interesting, especially if it's anything near as good as their hardware device. You can check it out for ten days(or more?).

I've been fine with the standard version as well, but when I need it again for dialogue mixes, I'll be testing the Advanced version as well.

Big deal for me is third party plugin support in stand alone mode. When arch processing in izotope is great and I would love to be able to stay in izotope when cleaning up dialogue files.

Sure wsh it wasn't $850 to get that feature because the other upgrades in advanced don't do much for me.

The upgrade is well worth it IMHO if you use the application a lot. I'm not a big fan of the adaptive denoising, somehow I can't seem to ever get that to work as expected. But the other Advanced features are really good: multi-resolution spectral repair can be significantly better, the advanced denoising parameters allow for less artifacts, and the 64-bit SRC is another step up from the already good izotope SRC. And indeed, being able to use third party plugs is great (even though I think that should really be in the standard version, too).
