Transferring Sadie Back Up & EDL Data 8 Tape?

I've recently acquired a D-Eight/Data8 tape from circa 1996 with the following written on it

1. LIVE ALBUM BACK UP + EDL "FINALMMM"
2. SPARE AUDIO BACK

SADIE V2.2.1 SOFTWARE

Is this a digital multitrack? I believe you can play such a tape on a Exabyte 8mm SCSI 8200 Driv but is it possible to still transfer the data from such a tape? And do you need Sadie, or will it just be multiple wav/aiff files, which you could then open up in Audition or similar program?

Any info would be great.

This is a SADiE backup tape, probably stereo, unlikely to be more than 4 channels. It'll be in SADiE's old proprietry format, so you'll need to find someone (like me!) with a SADiE system. I take it you're in the States. Try posting on the SADiE users website, or contact me if you like, but I'm UK based.
