Looking For a sample of a police car's "Whoop Whoop" sound

Hello everyone!
I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can find a police cars whoop whoop sound. I looked through all my sound libraries and could not find any. I also looked for some online. I tried to make one out of the regular siren, but it doesn't sound the same. I guess I might find one to sample out of an episode of Cops. I would prefer not to though. Thanks.

Record one. Cops love to hear their sirens in the movies. Grab your recorder and head down to your local PD, tell them what you're working on. They'll help you out.

Try Hollywood edge PE08 track 11.

And since we are on the topic of sirens...

Has anyone else's city started to use sirens that have a second tone a couple octaves lower in addition to the normal one? I started hearing these in DC a few years ago. At first I thought it was just one particular car that had a broken siren, but it has become too common for that to be the case.

Boston got these a few years back, it startled the crap out of me the first time I heard it. Must be so the siren sound can be heard from further away.

Thanks or the confirmation. At what point do they become common enough for the sound to start appearing in film/TV?

When they get used in a blockbuster movie/hit TV show and every producer starts asking for "THAT siren sound"?

here in LA, I have only heard them on Federal LEO vehicles and the Secret Service- I dont think most agencies are installing them as retrofits.

Thanks for all the responses. I don't have a field recorder, so i had download a sample. BTW the siren yelp is for a rap song, not a movie. I'm not sure if that makes my thread invalid... Just figured all the post production guys were experts at samples.
