The pt 10 channelstrip is soooo good for sfx mixing!

I have just had my first gig mixed on my new pt10. The new channelstrip is amazing for sfx and foley mixing. I had it on individual sfx and foley tracks. The particular sfx that I wanted to sound HUGE have been havily compressed with the strip. With the default attack time 10 microseconds and big ratio i could bend the sound in really radical way. I'm very happy with the results.

So if you have your upgrade, go and see by yourselves what this compressor can do for your foley and sfx tracks. And eq sounds great too. And it' all in one plugin. And there's the expander too.

I've managed to get good sounding compression out of it, but I haven' really squashed anything with it yet.

dig the bandpass though. that thing is fun.

go to the filter section and click filt 1 or filt 2. click off of the hipass and onto the bandpass icon at the bottom left. adjust Q and sweep for happiness.
