Thread Starter | Sherlock Holmes 2 - How the hell was this sound made
I just came back from seeing Sherlock Holmes 2 at the theater. The sound design was stunning, absolutely incredible. One sound that really stumped me was (and I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible, but please don't read on if you haven't seen it) is - When Sherlock and Co. are running through the forest and the enemies pull out the "big gun". One of the enemies screams FIRE! It sounds like a human screaming fire screeching from an eagle or something similar. I can't for the life of me work out how it was done. |

I haven't heard it but maybe some kind of resynthesis/morphing using something like a kyma capybara?
