Routing video playback, headphone cue, inputs etc... from/to 2 ProTools Rigs

PLEASE HELP! I think I'm over thinking this, but had to throw it out there for efficient solutions...

Here's the situation:
Going from one PT mix room to two rooms in a new facility. We need to be able to send video playback, headphone cue from both mix rooms to whisper, and obviously receive input from whisper.

Is it really just as simple as:
Video playback - Input 1 for room 1, input 2 for room 2
Audio Input from room - just switch to Room1/Room2 input, snake, etc...
Cue - a/b box in room labeled Room 1 and Room 2
Talkback.....

It needs to be as simple as possible, how can both rooms run cue/talkback and video playback to whisper, as seamless as possible/easy as possible?

Thanks in advance, I know this is probably a really dumb question to post.

You need a patchbay.

Can you be more specific? When I think of patchbay, I'm just routing audio signal. How can we utilize the one whisper room effortlessly with input/output from two separate mix rooms?

Look the simple way: a couple mic/line, BNC or video feed, and talkback lines on a panel in the booth. the lines will run between the booth and each room.

In the booth:
VIDEO: place a video monitor with 2 inputs so you can select between sources for the video playback.

AUDIO: use a small decent mixer mounted to the wall or on a small stand.

feed the talkback/playback to the mixer (from both rooms) and let the talent have the ability in the booth to set their levels. For the mic / or line going to the recording units just dangle a couple lines from each room into the booth.

thats the simple cheap easy way...

if it were my facility:

I'd drop in an audio patch bay in each editing room. Run proper tie lines between the two editing rooms, run lines for mic/line/bnc/hdmi/cat5 between all 3 room ( editing rooms and booth) set up a HEARBACK or similar unit allowing the talent to set levels. I'd set up a video patch bay ( supporting HD and SD) in each editing room with tie lines between them and with feeds to the booth. I'd set up cat-5 patch bays to all rooms, and i'd drop similar video monitors in each room. I'd create a nice set of panels in each room so I could record/edit/playback/mix in the two rooms and have the ability to utilize ANY room as a temp booth.... I'd place a small video camera in the booth and feed that back to both editing rooms so I can have eye-contact with the talent... I'd make sure that both DAWs had satellite capability so I could lock up the whole place just 'cause I might want the ability.... etc etc... but hey, thats me... I hate doing things half-assed...

cheers
