Thread Starter | European MEDIA programme under threat
To all those in Europe, the European commission is planning on scrapping the MEDIA programme that provides forums, development and production funds for programming. Some of the animation shows I've worked on have received such support and I'm sure others here have benefited too - please sign the petition here to help save it (animation or film professionals alike) Thanks |

Thanks for the heads up. I worked on a MIFA/Annecy awarded cartoon 12 yrs ago, can't believe they would shut down the fund :/

Signed! I fear to think what's going to happen if MEDIA gets shut down. Since cinema over here is pretty much non-commercial, most major productions heavily depend on MEDIA's support in one way or another.
