Whoosh SFX

Hey All,

Looking for a library or similar that has a diverse amount of whoosh sounds for titles and other animated transitions, both in texture and length.
I might usually create what I need myself, but this is something deadline oriented for one of my co-workers, and I don't really have much time to put into it, and the stock stuff we have access to isn't working.
Free is best, but payed is also acceptable. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

There's these:

Xtreme Whooshes 2 [50211] - $179.00 : Sonic Science!

... or of course if you have a 5'x1/4" dowel, a rake handle and a 8' 2x4 you could get a work out and build your library.

Hey,

These whoosh collections have done exceptionally well for me on iTunes, at Sounddogs, etc. I used them quite a bit for sound design for a game show I edited recently.

Here's the link to the packs (or "Jet Sets") on my site. They're currently on sale:

42 whooshes, $20
Jet Set Sound Effects Pack 16 - Whooshes, Swipes, Swooshes and Fly-Ins Sound Clips - Collections

And also:

40 whooshes, $20
Jet Set Sound Effects Pack 20 - Logo and Title Whooshes Sound Clips - Collections

I have them available for instant download in WAV and MP3.

I think it is important to be well-armed and have a pile at your disposal. Sometimes you just never know...

There are about 130 different whooshes and swooshes to be found at

Swish to Whoosh | Rocksure Soundz

most are $1-95 each but there are one or two free ones in there as well.

You could also check out our BOOM Library Cinematic Trailers, which contains a lot of swooshes and logo like impacts as well as base material in the construction kit:

I was in the same situation before and looked for a number of whooshes to cover all standard work in advertising, and I did not want to pay much. Found this as the best price/performance thing on itunes:
iTunes - Musik – „99 Whooshes“ von Sound Effects Library

Those whooshes cover a lot of ground and the entire library is only 9.- and on top of it it is non of those libraries where many whooshes have tons of reverb or room ambience on it which totally limits the useability and often makes them sound inappropriate for advertising usage.
