Thread Starter | Has anyone seen a book on mix setups for Logic?
I recently watched a mixing video on mac pro video and one really useful thing the presenter did was essentially give the viewer a bus & plug setup in logic with specific configurations to achieve a certain sound. He detailed: - small, medium & large reverb sends & specific configs - delay sends with specific configuration parameters - how to place your elements sonically so they make sense - an eq approach for the reverb & delay - where compressors make sense - an approach to applying these effects to glue your mix together It was a g r e a t starting point. Almost immediately, my mix sounded much smoother & consistent. I'd love to see a book that just gives a bunch of these 'sonic setups' as launching points to mix from. |
