Thread Starter | When should i use the NR tools?
Hey, When is the right time to use NR? A new OMF project just came in, the recording are OK, but there is lots of static BG noise. A - I can do the editing and than decide what needs NR and where - the downside is that working "offline" on edited material and not the whole file is some kind of a trap (i can suddenly decide i need more RT or the regions are too clean) B - i can listen to every shot on the movie, open the handels and make it sound "nice" before i go into the hardcore editing. I go into this conflict on every project. Thanx |

B. I do a 'rough pass through the whole program and then I can set priorities and notice where some similar noise comes up again and if it can be easily dealt with with EQ, where 'fill' or air for those sections might be.... This Question has come up here often so do a search and you'll see some other people's ideas. |
