As long as the director/creators are using the money to pay the crew and post folks the right amount of money, I could care less HOW they raise it! Of course the odds of that actually HAPPENING.... Director: "So I financed this thing on imadeamovie.com... got lots of investors onboard, and got some good money!" Post-Guy: "Great, so you actually have a budget for Audio-post..." Director: "Well...no... we spent it all already, renting a few REDs... did I mention it's shot on a RED?"
