What does a skunk actually sound like?

Anyone heard what a skunk sounds like in person (hopefully not too close i guess...) - have had a look on google and youtube etc but its either covered up by talking heads or hard to hear in the mix or from a home movie.
Kids cartoon so can't be hissy/nasty or any of that stuff (which I have although don't need), looking for more cheaky chirps type things - do they even make these sounds? Some raccoon and messed up otter fx are working for now but would be good to get any opinions
Thanks
D

I've been in very close proximity to skunks on a number of occasions. They have never made a noise, they just mind their own business and if you get to close, the do a hand stand and start spraying!

If the piece your working on is funny or non drama, you might just stick with the Raccoon / Squirrel sounds that the world recognizes as that type of critter.

Good luck.

PS: I thought you posted a thread about weed before I looked inside. Haha!

They make a bunch of different sounds. Hissing and sometimes they will make chirping like sounds as well as whimpering like a puppy. They also stomp their feet when they are angry.

I believe they have a French accent, like kissing, and they love the ladies... But I could be wrong.

Cheers guys - the baby skunks are much more along the line of what I was going for.

Not sure I'd get away with Pepe Le Pew - when it goes to the French language dubbing studio they might think I'm taking the piss!
Thanks
