Just a little reminder about the big event on August 1st, 2010. For those of you who haven't heard, I have organized a get-together for the people of our industry to hang out for the day and I disguised it as a poker tournament and a charity event. For the past few months, I have been contacting gear and software manufacturers to ask them if they would like to donate their products as prizes in support of our industry. The response has been overwhelming! For a small buy-in, we get to compete for some amazing prizes and enjoy the company of our peers for an afternoon of fun at The Village Recorders Studio. I am doing this for you. I am doing this for us. I am doing this for the good of our industry. I want to meet you. I want you to make new friends. I want you to leave with more than you came with. Won't you please join me?
