Anyone heard of an MT format bwav file?

I have a client who has asked if I can convert a bwav file from MT format to something more commonly usable. I hvae never heard of the MT format before and a quick google didn't come up with anything.

Do any of you know of this format?

Aha!

I answered my own question. It's a Fairlight thing-- I wouldn't understand.

Follow up queston: How do I convert this?

MT is a file format from previous generation Fairlight workstations. It is a composite file, containing the EDL and media in one file. The current Fairlight program will open and convert these.

Richard - I can open the MT files for you. I think the closest Fairlights to you are me (MVI Post) or Producer's Video in Baltimore. frank.s@mvipost.com

But, yeah, it's next on the list.
Now, if I can Chip Foose to finish the car, I'll mix the Overhaulin' show for free..

e, my wife suggested the same to me... Mix Overhaulin' and get your truck done. Too bad TLC dropped it. I wonder if it will show up somewhere else. It'd be a great Spike or CMT show.
