| Gear nut | Audio Units seem to replace default plug ins
I just installed Guitar Rig 2 (which I previously used with Logic). It still comes up in Logic under my audio units section with no problems, but in PT it pops up under every plug in type!! On mono tracks (pictured here), it appears in the EQ section after the various different EQ types (default ones), on a stereo track (pictured here) it seems to have replaced EQ!! It behaves the same for compession, reverbs, pitch shift etc... I'm sure there is some behind the scenes disc allocation or something I need to implement to make the audio unit appear its own separate category but I am yet to find it. any ideas? cheers, Patch

| Check your prefs
I believe the reason it shows up on all types of plug-ins is because the GR2 may be categorized in all those types(eq,dynamics, harmonic,etc...) Depending on your version of PT, you should be able to view your plug-ins either by type or manufacturer or both. Check your Preferences in the "Display" tab. |
