F'ing Typical isn't it

I have Netflix, and have watched a ton of movies on it, no problem.
So, finally there's a move I worked on, thought I'd check it out, see how it plays.

No f'ing center channel.

Stereo -> Pro Logic? If there were no center channel on the 5.1 I think a lot more people would complain, you can't really get away with dropping that one.

On their website, all the reviews for the movie state the same thing.
All dialog and center channel audio gone

Sounds like a great problem to have, actually... Now they'll recall it! If the left channel was missing, or the surrounds were encoded with the wrong gain correction, they'd never fix it

Happens more often that you'd think. I have had a few where the comp and MFX tracks were mixed together and one where the center channel was down at least 20 dB (major release too)

Theater has been playing Avatar since release date with left front channel not working. There have been about 5 complaints apparently.

I'd like to see how long it takes to fix a dead center-channel / how many complaints.

They used to actually PAY to have someone encode a film for DVD or Blu-Ray...now it's done by the night P.A. while they play Wii in the lounge.

The DVD is fine. I just got a screener.
So, at least that's fine.
