Strange audio mix for The Who at Kilburn 1977

Last night on PBS I watched The Who at Kilburn 1977 and found the audio to be absolutely dreadful. Roger Daltrey's vocals and John Entwistle's vocals and bass were quite audible, but Keith Moon's vocals and drums and Pete Townshend's vocals and guitar were hardly to be heard. Is it possible that the audio consisted of what John Entwistle heard in his monitor? Although that would be ridiculous to use for the audio for the concert video, it sure sounded that way.

Paul Clay is credited with remixing the audio. I tried to contact him through his website but it is under construction. Does anyone have an insight into the audio for The Who at Kilburn 1977?

I just heard the trailer at both youTube and amazon and the audio was ok, not at all like what I heard on PBS, so I suspect that there was a problem with the broadcast rather than with the mix itself.

Just Joshin by the way. It sounds like you heard something that just turned the left channel into a mono signal. The drums and guitar are on the right and the vox and bass are on the left.
