Things to consider when pre-mixing for DolbySR

About to enbark on a very small theatrical that was intended for a DD-release and is now back to a Dolby SR release...

If I mix in 5.1 and listen to an encoded+decoded LtRt (Dolby Surround Tools) are there any other things to consider? I read another thread saying that when delivering a 5.1 mix to the dubstage it should be 3dB lower because of the 3 dB boost on playback?

Any other EQ or compression things I should know? There won't be a lot of time to do corrections in the dubstage

Thanks

1•IF you are going to deliver a SR encoded LTRT your monitoring should be calibrated to 88dbc slow rather than 85.

2•If you are going to deliver a 5.1 or any other channel configuration to be mastered in a proper Dolby studio (which you should imho) then you should monitor as normal @ 85. Then the mix studio will take care of the 3 db difference (happens automatically in the DMU).

If you don't have access to and know how to use Dolby surround and SR encoders, stay with number 2!

I am not sure, if Dolby Surround Tools allows to encode LtRt for optical.

What is more, there is a need to add SR noise reduction. This cannot be done with any plug-in.

Oh sorry I didn't mean actually delivering a SR-version, but delivering FOR a LtRt version. I'll correct the first post. Dolby Surround tools is only there for my personal LtRt pleasures.
