Only have mono boom, VERY echo-y chamber...tips?

I'm doing a stereo mix on this. I removed a lot of the echo using downward expansion but it's still mono...
Any advise for making this stereo-able? I want to place the dialog in the soundstage.

Are doing a relatively normal film/video mix or something "special venue" oriented? I ask because dialog in most film/video mixes is usually mono, and placed center, mostly?

Still no tips on the reverb?!

If it's for theater, just leave it in the center, that's where dialogue belongs. Except you have a good reason for not leaving it there. Put a similar reverb on the FX and backgrounds so it all gels together.
Or ADR, if you want dry.

On a TV set, it's gonna end up quasi-mono anyway.

Well that just made my mixing 100 times easier...

I thought I was doing a disservice leaving the dialog in mono...

thanks.
