Happy Holidays to all you posties!

Happy Holidays to all you post gearslutz, and your families. May you all get some valued time away from the machines that keep us so busy (those lucky enough to be busy these days).

Be happy, safe, and warm (for those like me in climates definitely not So.Cal.).

And keep up the good work everyone. If it weren't for us, people would be back to silent films. Even in the times when the gig is givin' you the gears, it is still pretty amazing people get paid to play with sound all day long.

Best of luck, health, and happiness for 2010.

-Jeff

M/S is NOT mono compatible In fact, when collapsed to mono, S is entirely lost, and the recording sounds completely different from the original, stereo version.
Honestly, M/S is only "Maybe Stereo".

Also, my daughters are now confused about the role of soundmen/soundgals in movies :) Do we perform SFX ON-screen or during post-production?

Ugh...NO DOUBT. Hope you weren't travelling, as I was.

At least I got to experience some +3 and green grass and sun for a few days, hahaha.

LOL! I got the +3, but no green grass... just freezing rain all Boxing Day! At least I wasn't travelling. Now of course, all the white has returned! Hey... it's only -17 over there... for the 'Peg that's positively balmy in winter!

One more to the left and you've got me. But close enough, weather-wise.
I'll have to take the stick out and get a measure after the pre-Christmas dump. Probably a good 7" over the one night. Doesn't matter when you're indoors in front of your computer, though, does it?

Why I never really minded the rain in Vancouver...'cause I never saw it when I was indoors 23 hours a day.
