OMF Export Problem in Nuendo

Hi guys i was interested in reading your posts

I have a stupid problem as well but one that should be simple.

When I try to save in Nuendo 3 and OMF file it converts saves the audio wave files no problem. Then an error message comes up saying unable to export OMF file (Song title) No matter what way i try it does this all the time
Any ideas or direction would be great

Thank you

The OMF is probably larger than 2 GB - could that be? I remember reading that this gave problems.

Try non-embedded OMF, or, try only several tracks at a time.

Is the resulting file larger than 2 GB?

can u try it track by track? That often helps to identify where a problem lies

There was a sort of natural reverb when firing at the Behringer and it sounded sweet to my ears.

Have you tried an AAF instead?

Are the tracks all mono? All mono files?

Never had this one before, but I usually open more omfs than I create.

OMF ADvid and cubase 4

Hi I need some assistance in OMF settings

I have been working on a film cut on AVID ( on Mac ). The omf created in Avid imports into Cubase 4 ( on PC ). But my problem comes when I export and OMF and try to put it back on the AVID time line. The error code on avid say " the prodject file does not match the preferences settings " it relates to the bit and sample rate being different.

I have not change the settings in the Cubase session and merely worked with the OMF provided. How do I go about making and OMF that would work in AVID. I'm also concerned with the promt about Cubase sayning that levels might change because of the 32 bit float.

Some guideance would be much appreciated

Regards

What are your project settings in Cubase 4?
Sounds as though you might be working in 32bit float in Cubase.

Try switching to 24bit and see if that works.

Hope it helps!
