| Sound Design David Sonnenschein. I've said in the past and will say again: it is in depth and might be a little 'too much' but everyone is different. And read anything by Walter Murch (mainly known as a film editor but one of the masters of blending picture and sound, usually designing and editing and sometimes mixing his own). His book about the Cold Mountain film was just excellent. Not primarily about sound design, but good to have the reference. | David Sonnenschein's book is fantastic. He also teaches and does seminars in the LA area, and is really a treat to learn from. |
