Video Sync
Hey there!

Well the thing is that I use an Intel Mac for sound post(PT 7.3) and I want to use a second Mac(G4 OSX) dedicate for Video playback only (on a TV screen). So, in order to have video and PT sync when I hit Intel's spacebar I'm thinking of buying the Sync I/0 and the Integer Pro card. Is this approach correct or is there something that I miss?

Why do you want a second computer to run the video? I've been running PT LE w/ the DV Toolkit and the Canopus ADVC-100 to send the visuals to my video monitor (22 quarter frame offset) with no problems for quite a few years now.

well, it's a cpu issue. Also i've read some threats of some people complaining about canopus' performance with PT 7.3 and above and finally i need to see the video on a bigger screen than my second monitor(computer's monitor).

I used a Canopus for a couple of years too, but once you dump it, you never want to go back.
