Thread Starter | Best sample libraries for film/game scoring?
I just got Silk and Symphonic Choirs by East West and I'm loving them. I definitely need something for orchestral sounds, as well as for percussion. I do some film scoring, but I'm looking into doing music for video games. For Orchestral sounds, I was thinking East Weast Symphonic Orchestra Platinum, and for percussion, well it's a toss up between Drums of War and Storm Drums. Storm Drums seems to have more versatility, especially if I want to create more ethnic sounding stuff with Silk, but I feel like I could fake it with Drums of War, and also, it's so darn cheap! Have you guys seen this thing??? Drums of War | Cinesamples The video certainly impressed me. All that for 100 bucks? The bundle for 150? Ridiculous! Not really looking to go too much past the price range of the afore mentioned products. Like nothing that costs more than SD2 for percussion, or much more than EWQLSO Platinum. Thoughts? |
