| 5.1 panning in pro tools has anybody tried using a midi keyboard's joystick, or mod wheel to control 5.1 panning in protools 7.4 or 8?

| No, but nice thought. I'll chime in here and say I use a trackball as my input device, so panning is usually quite easy but can be done just as easily with a mouse sometimes. I've also seen guys take a kid's suction-cup dart from a toy gun, slap it on their trackball and pan away. ![]()
