Thread Starter | Los Angeles Post Production Group- January 14th Meeting David Sonnenschein, film director, sound designer and author of Sound Design: The Expressive Power of Music, Voice and Sound Effects in Cinema will present his unique approach on integrating sound and story -- getting clear on what you want to communicate and how to effectively use audio for that purpose. Topics include listening modes, psychoacoustics, and bipolarity in sound qualities related to dramatic conflict. Woody Woodhall, CAS, will be presenting on audio post workflow. The discussion will include the most effective management of materials from an OMF to a Digibeta output. Woody is founder and moderator of the LAPPG and owner of Allied Post Audio, an award-winning audio-post house. We kindly request a $5 donation at the door.
