Marti,

Have you been in on the beta for the controller? Or have you just been using the software? It's clear that you're a fan! I was about to go Multimax, but I think this might be the magic.

Thanks in advance for any opinions on the controller.

Bob,
I have been on the "Beta" and have been able to have input on the layout etc. I have a "Martinsound MultiMax" but this takes it to a new level!
THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!!!
Look at what it does ... 7.1 with Meters in a Calibrated set up and it ALL DIGITAL!!

Just as I thought... gonna be sweet. I'm going to dive deeper into integration with the talkback/listenback on the ICON and I think all my needs will be met.

Thanks again!

I've been messing around with the Demo today and can't get over how awesome this thing is. The included Template is very helpful as well.

I do wish it included some sort of "dialnorm" meter.

cough control

From their Description Page:
"Two listen back inputs can be used and each has separate "cough" controls so talent can mute/unmute the input during recording and live broadcasting."

so that would only affect monitoring?

In fact I have never seen something like that in studios around here, but one time a VO talent was asking for "Räuspertaste" which means essentially the same. Do many recording studios have that?

I guess you'd need the remote to connect and wire a button?

I've seen them for live/broadcast use, but never in a recording studio. I'm sure someone has them though.
