Thread Starter | audio pumping on youtube video I have been trying to upload a music video to youtube and various other video hosting sites for a few weeks and am at my wits end. once the upload is re-encoded by their servers to prepare it for streaming the audio pumps in the most horrible way. This is not a small problem that is bothering me because I am an audio guy. It literally jumps up and down in volume about 6-10 db from moment to moment. The funny thing is, it sounds fine on myspace video. But youtube is really an important part of the online video commmunity. I have tried everything I can think of, from lowering the overall volume of the audio, to adding more/less compression to the audio track, I have encoded the video to FLV, to mpeg, and every other format these sites will accept. I have made the audio mono before uploading (as i know that is part of what their streaming encoders do) and nothing seems to work. Any ideas? |

Thread Starter | Thanks for the heads up! They did fix it. Now I am very happy to have my video on youtube and sounding good, well, as good as mono streaming audio can sound  |

 | so where can you stream stereo video at original file quality? Z share can stream uncompressed audio (or at least high quality mp3's without ruining them the way the myspace flash players do) so is there a site with a video version of this? |

| Vimeo is a lot higher quality than youtube. |
