Thread Starter | Choppy Frames????
Someone sent me a short movie to mix, it was done in HD, not sure what camera. Anyways, the file was sent to me as... H.264, 960 x 540, Millions 16-bit Integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48.000 kHz --- I'm trying to convert it in QTpro to dvcpro ntsc for playout through my canopus 110. Problem is, when I play the converted video back in pro tools, the look is all choppy, and the nudge is about 2 frames off. I know h.264 is not an interframe codec, could this be why I'm seeing this after conversion to dvcpro |

If u r on a mac use mpeg streamclip its free and v good, i do h264 tp Dv all the time and have had no problems. I'm not sure what you mean by choppy maybe its an interlace thing, i think there's a box you can tick for this in streamclip Squared 5 - MPEG Streamclip video converter for Mac and Windows
