BEST place to SELL your samples/music for post???

My partner and I have started building a catalog of music and sounds for post production. we have a lot of leftover music pieces that have not been used by any clients yet and it would be nice to see if we can make some money off of them.

Where is the biggest buzz on the net to sell them?stike

well, there is plenty of established music production companies that advertise in Post magazine. you can talk to them but youll get a 50/50 on each track licensed but some $$ on royalties.

those companies already have a big clientel and if they take you they just add your tracks to their catalog.

you can also send CD/DVDs free to film editors and if they use it then theyll call you talk about the license agreement.

i worked for a small co like that and the music wasnt that good but they had international sub plublishers whcih fukin brought a lot of $$$.

I heard of some web sites that people can go to, listen to a sample, and buy it off the site with a non-exclusive license. Any of those around?
