Negative film, need help retelecine to HD

We have a film shot on negative film, telecinied to Digibeta, digitized into final cut pro without flex files. Need to make hi def copy of the cut. retelecine in HD?

Do you retelecine to HD format? How do you conform the new HD to the existing cut?

while you might get an answer here (as some of our sound people also do video), this is not a video forum per se. it's about audio for picture.

depending on how the material was imported into FCP. You can take the FCP session to an online house and export to HD. You can also go back to the edited negitave and do a HD print for a digital Intermediary. I wouldn't do an HD from Digibeta....

Are you going to HD-CAM? or D5 or what?

cheers
