Sonically, it's pretty good. Some of the levels/sync is off though.

music is really cool, but seems to be missing lots of fx / sound design you could have filled in

i appreciate your enthusiasm and effort (!), but, like most students, you went over your head by taking this particular clip. it's a couple of minutes packed with action - more sfx, music and mixing required than for most feature-length dramas. even for an sfx editing shark, it would be, (let's say) a month's worth of cutting to cover the basic needs of this scene.
next time you get to do this kind of exercise, i suggest you take a more diverse clip - like the scene where elastigirl sneaks through the hallways and fights the guards all stretched up, then the rocket gets launched and the kids run out of the cave. it's a very hard job as well, but witin a reasonable amount of time, it would be possible for you to cover every little footstep and breath. (of course, if you're not interested in ADR, you could edit out the dialogue between the kids). you would get to do quiet parts, loud parts, some realism, some sound design, and more diverse music as well.
i guess this critique is better applicable to your professor (who let you take on this colossal scene), and to all the other professors (including my ex-professors) who should teach the students to build realistic sound first, which makes for 99% of real-world work on features.
when i accidentally dug out a backup of my own 'colossal' student work a couple of years ago, i enjoyed very much! i laughed at the lack of footsteps, reverbs, cloth movement etc, etc, but there were a couple of really rockin' explosions and respectable whooshes!

I have to agree with Danijel. This was quite an ambitious scene to take on. I think you had 60% of the SFX covered. The other 40% that was missing was allot of the intricate details. For instance try putting the sounds of the flying saucers in a reverberant space and mix the wet/dry in correlation to the proximity on screen. That would help create extra sonic dimension. It's one thing to find sounds and place them on a timeline, but to get the right sound or record the right sound and make it "seem" real is an art form that take years of practice and refining. I am 10 years into it and feel I am just now producing things that put a smile on my face. Anyway, over all it is not bad. The music works. The SFX could have been allot more detailed. Cheers.
