| Lives for gear | low budget 5.1 options?
I keep coming up short for the blue sky media desk, $999 ebay new.. Its the shipping + tax that wrecks me. ($350 TAX, shipping $240) Could the logitech Z-5500 be a good package for beginning? Id could then supplement it with the Blue sky and use the Logitech for A/B... Main thing is I could get some more clients with the Logitech 5.1 and save up till I push over the $1200 hump im lacking. Cant quite swing the Yamaha MX5, (the sub is $600!) Top it off im buying with out testing and having it shipped. I don't work in movies, Hell I don't work much at all.. ![]() Last option is DO NOTHING and use headphones for 90 days, In 90 days Id have cash for the Blue sky system, no tax and $50 shipping... I don't think I would ever need anything more then blue sky media desk as its the top of my budget and my room is SMALL. Thanks.. Im low end and so are my clients, budget and needs. thumbsup |

Why not buy the 2.1 setup, and add the other three speakers later?
