Post Conform for OS9 issues..I need so quick help!!

Okay, so I'm working with this ancient conforming tool and am trying to figure it out. So far, everything has worked properly. We have a whole bunch of DATs with production audio on them and an edl list. Everything appears to work properly with the conform. We export the conformed audio to a pro tools (5) session and when played back, the audio sounds sped up, almost like alvin and the chipmunks. We are sure that we have all the session info right (48k, 16bit, 30nd,) and have even tried switching it around with no luck. I listed to the DAT machine while its conforming and everything sounds normal..so why is mine sounding this way??? I'll take any input. I am working on OS9 and synced up with a Sony PCM 7030.

Do you have the USD and machine control, is it correct? Do you feed the same black burst to both Sony and PT?

I have the same usd for both and post conform is controlling the deck with a 9pin to mac serial. I checked the setup on the usd and DAT machine to make sure everything was 48k 16bit 30nd and it was. As for Vid ref...I was just told that it is the same vid ref but it is NTSC. Could that speed it up?? this is the only option on vid ref i have....thanks guys!

so it turns out the weak link was the 888. I replaced it with another and boom, it works fine. That was the last thing I would have guessed. Thanks guys.
