VIDEO CAPTURE ADVICE

Does anybody have any recommendations for an entry level pci video capture card.
I'm looking for one to install on a pc running Sony Vegas for starters.
I would like to find one with a breakout box that would support audio and video in and out both.

Thanks for any ideas.

Right now as far as I know Vegas only supports the Aja Xena cards. They are a bit expensive. I have an ADVC 110 and can also recommend that if firwire will work for you.

If you don't need to to work directly with Vegas then the Black Magic Intensity cards look pretty cool. The Intensity pro is $350 and has HDMI i/o plus component i/o.

The Canopus ADVC 110 website talks about support for Vegas. The ADVC 300 looks pretty nice too. A budget of $500 or less is what I was thinking. Do you think that a firewire interface would be as stable as a dedicated pci card? The Canopus product line looked like it is pretty well made.

Thanks for your input.
