| Lives for gear | Burning master with DVD Architect, Copy protection 1 copy setting?
Hi, I'm burning 5,000 copies with Sony DV Architect 8 as the mastering app for DVD. I noticed it has copy protection. However I'm burning with a tower system that you know wont allow copy protection. Yet the DVD will allow one copy. Am I correct that I can burn a master, put in the tower and it makes a DVD that is protected? Also the client is spending about $10k on the project so I don't want some huge screw up where I make unreadable protected products that shits it self in 20% of older DVD players. This is also my first big job, anything I need to know about compatibility? Its not glass master or optical drives. Just run of the mill pioneer dvd drives. Am I correct to master and burn at 4x? Also, hope posting in this forum is ok, I know you post guys do everything now days from camera to editing to head cheff at the studio. Thanks again kind sirs. stike |
