| SFX for software I am designing sound for a software application being developed and was wondering at what level I should be finishing the files at. Also what format works best? I have been giving them wav files at 24bit. The programmers commented that some of the sounds were low in level but they can boost them using an open source audio application. I would like to know if there a standard level I should be delivering the files at so they do not have to boost them. |

| hi, you can try Sony's ATRAC format, this format provides higher sound quality with smaller sizes than many competing formats.
