Splitting a stereo mixdown into 2 mono tracks in pro tools le

I need to do this because in something I recently finished mixing (don't ask how, butt) the level in the right channel is considerably lower than in the left. And yes there is quite alot of panning going on at various points.

So is there a fairly easy way of doing this in pro tools le or should I be looking at other options?

It's already done. Pro Tools does not support stereo interleaved files. What you really have is a split-mono file which can just simply be dragged onto two mono tracks.
