Does anyone know of a hardware midi device that I can use to automate surround mixes for under $1000? Thanks. |

It's not necessarily MIDI, but if you're using a Steinberg app (Nuendo or Cubase), you can use a standard gamepad. I use an Xbox 360 wired controller for my surround panning. It's not pretty, but it works like a charm and the price is right |

Ahh. Neat idea. This would be for use with Digital Performer 5. Any thoughts?
