Thread Starter | Hardware Joystick for Nuendo Surround Panning
What are the options out there? I like the look of the JL cooper MCS-Panner, but at $950 it is a lot of money for a joystick... Are there any alternatives? Ideally (but this would probably be a custom build!) I want a unit with a joystick and 2 faders or rotary encoders (for LFE and Centre channel level), but to start with, a simple joytick would be great!! Cheers, Martin |

I think you can use a gaming joystick for panning. Not totally sure of that though.

I use a Saitek gaming joystick and Junxion: It's awesome. http://www.steim.org/steim/junxion_v2.html

Thanks guys, I will look at the price of the CH stick - it looks exactly like what I need. Alternatively any gaming joystick would do... Junixion looks like a fab program! Thanks, Martin |

I use DP5 with Mac OS x. Will Junxion and a Saitek joystick work with my system? How does the Junxion software relate to what you do in the DAW? Or, does Junxio just povide a HID interface connection with xy coordinates? Thanks for your answers guys. Ciao, Stefan |

I use an Xbox 360 wired controller. Used to use a PS2 controller with a USB adapter. At the end of the day, I fire up a game, and it works for that too |
