help wanted for festival film-

Geert, I hope posting this is OK- if not please let me know... charles maynes

Hi All- I am posting this in a few places so if you see it elsewhere it is by design...

I have a freind who is trying to complete a short film and is looking for someone who can do it for the experience-

That means it is a no pay job- However, It is a good piece for a resume, and will be mixed on a nice stage (which is also a ProBono)
If you are interested here is the Directors comments about it-

Short Film With Name Star Needs Sound FX Designer

“The Cookie Thief” a 22 minute film starring Academy Award Nominee Eric Roberts is in the final phases of post production and needs a talented sound effects editor/designer to bring the audio to the next level. Film was shot in a busy airport and promises to have a strong festival run. Great story with top production value. Unfortunately, the budget is busted, so I am looking for someone to do this pro bono who can use this as an addition to their reel or who wants to sound design an entire film. We are mixing at a top soundstage at Todd-AO so your work will be mixed well. I will send a rough cut link to anyone interested. Thanks.

Adam Davis

Adam is a good friend of mine, and If someone gives him a hand, I will try to be available to assist...

you can email me at charles@furyandgrace.com if it sounds interesting...

It's fine by me, maybe we need a seperate category under post-production for these kinds of threads...

I'll look into it.
