| studio scheduling software? What you guys using to schedule you studios? We're a small facility, only three rooms. We had been using iCal with Caltalk, but we have outgrown it and looking for something a little more powerful. We don't want to spend a ton, and already have a powerful filemaker database for all our billing. |

| Daylite 3 seems pretty cool. Lots of integration with MacMail and iCal but goes way beyond your current solution for assigning jobs, tracking work and working with contacts. I've been trying out the demo and I think we're going to buy it. I checked out a studio specific piece of software at AES, can't remember the name. Just wasn't the right solution for us, pretty heavy on unnecessary features IMO. john. |

| We have used ScheduAll since 1994 - works great for scheduling and billing, etc. I don't know if they make a mac version. |

| Gear interested | We use Altermedia's StudioSuite, it recently got a nice upgrade to v8.0. Great piece of software that is networkable. |

| ScheduALL is to scheduling what Pro Tools is to audio. I have asked them about a Mac version at NAB, and they will never do it. They claim there is too much code to port. Now, if you bought an Intel-based Mac, and ran Parallels, then it could be useful. Also, FMP runs on Windows (aside from some graphical layout differences, its fine). So you wouldn't necessarily have to give up your FileMaker database to run ScheduALL. |

| soundguydave, for billing i would suggest Quickbooks!!! makes it easier to interface with your accountant too. i just give him a copy of my Quickbooks to do my corporate taxes. QB manages your checking account, credit card accounts, billing, accounts payable,. accounts receivable. a long time ago when my little music business generated $30,000 per year, i used Filemaker..., but if you are paying bills and invoicing a lot, use QB. for scheduling, we are simply using Entourage -- the e-mail program. we are a busy shop, but schedule few sessions. so, i am not much help there....
