EA LA Contract Gig

This one looks like they want a designer, not a game-audio specific person. Not my listing, just passing it along.

Electronic Arts in Los Angeles is looking for another Sound Designer to
join their award-winning audio team for the rest of 2009! EA Los
Angeles is based in a state-of-the- art, custom-designed campus in the
Playa Vista section of West LA, and is home to world-renowned
franchises, including real-time strategy games in the Command & Conquer,
Red Alert, and Lord of the Rings series, as well as the Medal of Honor
first-person shooters. In collaboration with master film director and
storyteller Steven Spielberg, EA LA also released the hit action-packed
puzzle game Boom Blox for the Nintendo Wii.

Candidates must have excellent sound design skills, and will be
specializing in original content creation (as opposed to game audio
integration) . You must be self-sufficient, extremely detail and
task-oriented, organized, and deadline-focused. Applicants that have a
passion for video games and play games regularly will be favored.
Proficiency with popular audio software such as Digidesign Pro Tools,
Steinberg Nuendo, and Sony Sound Forge required. An ear for scale,
distance, and perspective is critical for this position. Less
experienced individuals with a standout reel and impeccable references
are encouraged to apply.

Please email your resume and a web link to a demo of your sound-design
work to etchen@ea.com <mailto:etchen@ea.com>
