Highly regarded Award winning Post facility is in need of an experienced Audio Post Editor/Sound Designer. This position has high growth potential.
You will be working in UK designed 5.1 surround mixing rooms on the most up to date Pro Tools HD system along with a D-Command Desk. You will be working with an another editor who is in a different room.

Applicant needs to relocate to Northern California!

Applicant needs to be highly qualified in working with Advertising clients and working on Spots, Documentaries, Voice Over Recording, Music Editing, Sound Design, etc.
Applicant needs a minimum of 5 years real world Post Experience preferably in a recognized post house. College, Technical Institute does not apply or count as real world experience.


Essential Tasks:
• Highly Experienced with Pro Tools HD3
• Use of Busses, Inserts, Routing etc within Pro Tools
• Routing, patch bays, signal flow knowledge, server database use
• Foley, ADR and Sound Design as an art.
• Multiple format compression for Web, DVD, Broadcast and radio
• More importantly is the capabilities of working with clients.


Requirements:
• Highly Experienced with Pro Tools HD3, bonus if exp in D-Command.
• Ability to perform in a very fast paced but friendly environment
• Excellent computer skills and technical knowledge of the software used. This is very important to know the execution, install, updates of various Plug-ins, outboard gear, codec’s used for video, layback to video using DigiBeta etc. This is not to be confused with doing any electrical repair or cable routing for which there are skilled consultants for this purpose.

Bonus:
• Experience in Music Recording of Bands, Instrumentalists, Singers and Mixing / Mastering of that is a big bonus. It isn’t our primary function but with the inclusion of an all Digital environment with a state of the art mixing controller this room will attract many artists within and outside of this area.
• Experience as a Full Sound Designer using multiple Plug-ins, outboard processing, foley and general use of out of the box thinking.
• Being a Thought Leader and Big Idea person
