It is December 10th.
Today is International Human Rights Day. Sadly, less people probably know of this days' designation than of commercially trumped up holidays such as 'Valentine's Day' or other "Hallmark Holidays..." Even sadder still, is that probably even less people know that Artists' Rights ARE Human Rights. International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights : Article 15, paragraph 1c: Quote: |
The right of everyone to benefit from the protection of the moral and material interests resulting from any scientific, literary or artistic production of which he or she is the author.”
