This looks great so far! What material are you planning to layer the inner walls with?

Thumbs up

Looks good and you are really making progress! So we keep pushing for more pics...! I'll be around in July (visiting my second hometown Fuzeta, aka Iris/Domingos headquarters) so maybe I will drop by for a quick visit.
Apart form the caulk tubes, did you have any other problems getting the right material ?

I think I read he'll be using rockwool.

Eduardo: Very nice, small - but fine. That looks really good

Yeah, it's cool that you had the 3d rendering of it before hand...it gives us a visual idea of what you're going for. It's going to look sick when it's done!

Actually the floor was done almost all by me but I didn't do much on the wall structure. I don't have much time and I am trying to speed up things.

It's going to have fibreglass or rockwool, I'm not sure yet.

Fuzeta is not too far from here about 30-40km
Feel free to pass by

I had a lot of problems getting the Neoprene pads for the floor, getting someone to make the windows and doors (I will have to buy them already made) , getting the ceiling isolators, getting someone to understand well what was needed for the HVAC... and the list continues...

That's right, that was an extra but it as been very useful. If I didn't have it I would not understand some parts of the project, and it's easy to explain to someone any part of it. I have a lot of shots and some very interesting like this one where it shows the ceiling panels details.

How cool is that!

The monitor stands on the rendering are they going to be custom made? I've never seen stands like that before.

Keep the pictures coming.

I haven't decided on the stands that I will use but I don't think that I will have any custom made. The ones on the rendering are there only as an example.

Right now the HVAC is being installed.
It took some hard work to define exactly where would the ducts be installed, choose the most silent and slimmer machines that could fit on the ceiling, and even choose the type of ducts and the interior of it

i've been following this thread since the very 1st day. But it is time to show some support as your wallet must start to suffer & it starts to look like something really serious

Would be very interesting if you could let us know about the final budget at the end.

bom possibilidade para a sequência.

.
I will.

The HVAC is done.

It took a lot of time to get it right, it had to have some parts redone that were not well thought in the paper.

This is how the ducts are in the inside

Some holes in the wall to be filled.

Sorry for the lack of updates but it didn't much further, a lot of problems to get the doors, windows and ceiling hangers.

This is going veeeeeeeryyyyyyy slow.

While I waited for the doors, windows and the ceiling acoustic hangers (the doors and hangers have already arrived) I made the Small machine room floor

Some pics

The ceiling framing is done!!! Now the doors can be installed.
Windows, Rockwool and drywall are on the way!!!

It is done with the acoustic hangers to avoid the maximum of direct vibrations from the studio to the 1st floor.

Hey Eduardo,

I'm curious to know the process for hanging the ceiling frame, ie is the frame built on the floor the hoisted up to the hangers, or is each length of timber hung individually and then joined to make a completed frame?

Wondering about lining the ducts interior with foam to cut noise....won't moisture/mold build up in the foam?

I don't know if I unsderstood well the 2 processes you asked me (my technical english is not ver good).

The process is like this:
1 - The hangers are all installed as you can see on a pic.
2 - The wood beam is cut to the length of the room.
2 - Take the exact measures of the spacing between the hangers and then mark on the beam.
3 - Make the holes to get the screws through
4 - Put the beam in place supported by the metal rails (since it is only the beam, the weight is well supported by the rails)
5 - insert the screws through the holes and screw them on the hangers..
6 - Use the screws to align the beam.

I hope you understand...

The foam is a denser one, and the face that has contact with the air is like a mix of foam and rubber.
