A home studio a half hour from me installed one and I've been tempted to contact him to just to come over and drool at it....

I still got bunch of audio cables to run through walls and soder etc..
I would say I'm about 5 days away from getting sound in here.
Taking it slow and making sure I do everything right the 1st time.

1 of the 6 audio accessories Shorti TT patchbays Paul Wolf talked me into getting.
The console and rest of my studio is going to be a piece of cake to hook up.
Everything is Dsub at the console and patchbay side (plug and play).

Jeff Goodman from Tonelux came up with a very logical patchbay layout!

I have been looking into tape machines.

I got my machine room wired with 24 ins and 24 outs ready for something.

later in the year I might go for it, only thing is there is no tape techs here
that I trust and shipping anywhere is going to be $$$

If anyone knows of any good deals or has got some good ideas let me know.

I feel like crakin a bottle of bubbly just realizing how close you are :)

I know you've spent a fortune on the build...what is your rent like and I'm assuming
that in your lease there is some clause that does not commit you to returning the space back to some sembelance of wharehouse space if and when you ever leave...right?

Mac Pro 3ghz quad with Pro Tools HD2 and a sweet Nuendo PC rig withs uad-1s Powercore MK2s.

Also Planning to get a Radar rig in the future.

Hmmm Tape machine or Radar next?

2k a month with a 3 year lease option to renew.

I don't really want to think about tearing it down and this subject was never brought up. The plan was that this is going to work and I will be here for awhile but I'm glad
