I don't think I pointed it out on the last page, but you can see that we have power to the can lights now (!!!!). Just incandescent bulbs for now, but they'll all be LED's once we get closer to the end of construction.

The halogen light hanging in window to control room has been the main light source for the past few months. It has served us well, but damn, I'm going to be glad to see it go... not just because it makes the place feel unfinished, but it's tough to get good pictures with this thing.

The scrap sheetrock was painted with a couple of test colors (those are the cans in the window).

And cloud construction had to be moved to the back parking lot. You can see a roll of the Guilford of Maine black fabric in the foreground:

Ceiling and walls have been painted...

There's not going to be much drywall visible on the walls once all the acoustic finishes go up. This wall of the live room is the only wall with drywall as a finished surface:

In both control room and live room, everything above the soffit returns will be black (including ceiling):

That's the frame of what will be a cloud for the vocal booth:

So while they were spraying the ceilings, we had them spray the furring strips at the top of the walls. These will be slightly visible once the wood diffusors are hung (there's a narrow gap between diffusors, and we didn't want any colors popping through that gap):

Not much paint to see in the control room, because there will be essentially zero drywall visible on the walls once we're done. Everything gets absorptive panels, wood diffusors, wood veneer, etc.

Like the live room, everything from the soffit returns and up will be black. Also like the live room, we sprayed the furring strips that will hold the diffusors:
