What are the final dimensions of the room? and have you set up shop in there? what kind of problems are you having in the frequency response? I can't wait to see pics.

Did you post any pics of the end result? I am super curious how your garage ended up - and your take on how you like mixing in there.

I am debating on taking my whole studio out of my living room and into my garage. The garage is 25'x20' and would be ideal to be in there, I just don't know if I want to come up with the 2-3k to get it done. My uncle is a contractor in AZ and offered to do it with me for free if I paid for his food, gass, and material!

Do you think it is possible to lay down the floor, electrical, and dry wall in one weekend?

Depends on what needs built and framed, but that's all finish work! I'd focus on getting a design for the space first! Show your dude what you need done, he should know how long it should take or how many guys you'd need to get it done in a weekend, but I'd say it isn't likely. A job done right is worth the time spent.

Sorry, didn't mean to interject

Those couches take up most of the space, its hard to see how it'll work as a mix room..

Yeah, I'm curious to see how everything will fit in there. Including the acoustic treatment!!! I would say, just stick with the love-seat and lose the giant couch!

Otherwise, it looks great! Love the art you chose, and the colour of the floors!
Keep it up!

I found an old mantle at habitat for humanity and then converted it into stands.

All is all the stands cost me 60 bucks

Well this setup fits in nicely I guess. But it looks like you have no acoustic treatment yet, which will probably take up a bit more space.
