Wow, looks amazing! love all the wood. Is your control room quite "live" sounding with all that hard surface? I'm assuming there is absorption behind them, but still I'm curious? Also wondering if you used any sort of calculations with those rounded diffusors hanging on your live room wall? Are they filled with some material? How noticeable were the results of that? I ask, because I'm consider similar treatment for my own build. Thanks.

the control room is pretty dead even with all the wood(yes have 703 behind them). The back wall is loaded with roxul and 10 hanger. The stereo image is insane! I can see the sound...pretty impressive! The rounded diffusor are fill with roxul and have 3 separation in it. I don't know about the calcul, but my acoustic designer know it for sure. Thanks for the kind word!!!

Looks like you need to back off the desk from the wall a meter?

Stamand, thanks for the response. What kind of wood did you use for the surfaces? Did you just bolt those 2X4's up, then bend and wedge the rounded pieces in-between them, or is there more to the design? Also very curious if you achieved your diffusion goals with that set-up? |

Wow! The live room looks incredible! The wood paneling is sweet. I bet it would be a lot of fun to play in that room.
